Maxim starts climbing in 1993 when he is 11 years old. During his career as a professional climber, he has achieved numerous accomplishments, some of which include:

  • 1st place in the X-games in 2001 and 2002.
  • 1st place in the World Championships in 2001 and 2003.
  • 1st place in the European Championships in 2000 and 2002.
  • 3rd place in the World Games in 2009.

    • In 2011 he ends his career as a professional climber and becomes a trainer in the UAE. From 2020 to 2022 Maxim is head coach of the Ukrainian national speed climbing team. In 2022 he joins Walltopia Climbing Center’s crew as a coach.
